Frontier King rules in Roman-Barbarian tourney

by Tom Graves

Thanks for all that came out and played. As usual, everyone had a great time and all were excellent sports. We had 8 players and the leading Frontier King and Imperial Roman met up in the third round undefeated and untied. A decisive result was in the offing. However, after an hour the score was tied at 3-3 and I called the game, allowing the fourth game to be relevant to the results. Mike had a decisive advantage over his opponent in the fourth game. In my mind his opponent was looking much like the victim of a giant anaconda. Then PIP freeze and even though I let the final game run beyond the limit, a resolution could not be reached amd a second tie for Mike D resulted in a win for Keith Finn. Congrats to all that played.
